The operation consists of strengthening the system for sorting household packaging in the territory of Mayotte, in particular: accelerating the deployment of the 2018-2020 terminals, including “cardboard-paper”.Study “shared diagnosis” of the device at the end of 2019 and 1° half of 2020. In 2018 and 2020: Investment of the additional terminals is speeding up the deployment of the specific cardboard and paper terminals, at a rate of 160 terminals in 2018. Then through the establishment of new voluntary contribution points (TRI-O) at 50 new points/year in 2019 and 2020 — almost 100 new points by the end of 2020. In parallel at the end of 2019 and the first half of 2020: — Carrying out a ‘shared diagnosis’ by a study office on the device made available to the population. — It will follow three axes: — A first that will establish the performance of the terminals by means of a load rate indicator. — A second on the ‘socital’ aspect on the perception of the population and the need to sort out, (in conjunction with the environmental services of the local authorities), the meaning of the sorting gesture, ‘binding’ communication (need to best prepare for the possible end of the appeal in 2022). — A third priority will be the preparation of recommendations for the effective organisation of a collection adapted to the Mayotte context, as well as an accompanying and training plan for a possible resumption of the appeal by the local authority(ies).
