The three-star MAHABOU hotel project in Mamoudzou is a flagship project for the Maurean economy and will offer Mayotte a qualitative leap. The 46-room hotel, located in a key part of the city, visible and immediately identifiable from the sea, especially by people arriving by the barge, will compensate for the lack of quality accommodation on the island. Its architecture, designed in a pure Mahorais style embellished with design and contemporary, will energise the maritime facade of Mamoudzou. The hotel will boost the economy of the city and, beyond that, contribute to the economic growth of the island. Relationship between the aid sought and the number of jobs created: 15 direct short-term jobs and more difficult to quantify indirect jobs will be created. This brings the requested aid to an average of EUR 80K per job created, taking into account only direct jobs, which will also be permanent jobs, by the very nature of the investment.
