SIEAM, by delegation to SMAE, is currently operating the drills of Acoua and Dapani for the supply of drinking water in the commune of Acoua and Bandrélé. These boreholes, which are currently under-exploited in terms of capacity, need to be strengthened and equipped with the necessary structures to transfer raw water to existing systems. The Acoua drilling facilities are aimed at improving the drinking water system through the construction of the equipment and structures necessary to transfer the water from the borehole to the Chembenyoumba Reservoir and by the resumption of the Acoua distribution. SIEAM wants to use this new resource to improve the water supply of Acoua and redirect water from drilling to the Chembenyoumba Reservoir. With regard to the Dapani drilling, in view of the current difficulties in providing water to the village of Mtsamoudou and in order to ensure its supply, it was hoped by SIEAM to transfer this raw water supply to the Mtsamoudou reservoir, which is currently fed (but insufficiently) by the supply pipe from the Chirongui reservoir.
