The experimental milk and pig farms of the Trinottières (49) created on 1 April 2017 following the desire of the Chambre d’Agriculture du Maine et Loire to outsource these two entities. In response to the ERDF PAA “Support for investments by regional actors in the food and food sectors in the field of innovation and experimentation”, the SAS Experimental Farm of the Trinottières has submitted an application for a grant for the construction of a new building dedicated to experimentation. The future fattening building will have 960 seats and will allow the testing of innovative equipment, transferable to livestock in different areas: precision feeding, animal welfare, low energy consumption building, etc.
