The SARL Energie du Bassigny project consists of the construction of a 250 kWe cogeneration methanisation unit in Barbas en Meurthe-et-Moselle. Backed by the GAEC in Bassigny, the unit will process 8,500 T of inputs including 6,240 T of livestock manure. The biogas treated will be recovered by cogeneration, using a 250 kW motor. The electricity will be sold in its entirety to EDF. The heat produced by the cogeneration engine will be recovered via a heat network, in order to heat 3 surrounding houses, a workshop, and an office/meeting room located on the farm next to the future methanisation unit.
