The ALIBIOTECH project aims to strengthen upstream research in the fields of agri-food and biotechnology. It aims to ensure an optimal transfer of the results of this research to regional companies in the sector. Its main objective is the development of sustainable agriculture and food through the characterisation, bioproduction and exploitation of biomolecules, but also through the development and optimisation of clean technologies and processes for improving food quality and safety. This project selected under the CPER 2015-2020 is fully in line with the efforts made in recent years to structure research in agri-food and biotechnology in the region with the creation of the Charles Viollette Regional Institute for Research in Biotechnology and Agri-Food, which brings together nearly 80 % of the researchers involved in this field.
