In its attempt to carry out the entire route of EuroVelo n° 4 known as “du Littoral” crossing its territory (53 km), the Urban Community of Dunkirk is planning to develop two of the 10 functional sections identified on this cycle route. The two sections selected for this operation are Section 7a linking Dunkirk Station to the F.Léger Professional High School in Coudekerque-Branche (1.4 km), and Section 9 between Leffrinckoucke Station and Bray Dunes Town Hall (7 km). The project therefore consists of a continuous, secure cycle path suitable for the traffic of active modes. At European level, this EuroVelo will eventually connect Kiev (Ukraine) to Roscoff (British).
