Since the last reinforcement work in 2013, many degradations have appeared on the track and the “Fox” ramp. The various audits, studies and diagnostics have demonstrated the need to strengthen the airport’s movement area. These investigations revealed significant structural flaws and therefore forced SAGPC to review the investment plan to incorporate the premature rehabilitation of these two infrastructures. In addition, this work will give the SAGPC the opportunity to rectify the non-conformities identified during the EASA certification that are included in its corrective action plan.
