The SARL METHACANCE, the promoter of the methanisation project led by Monsieur ROYER, is a newly created structure. In 2018, she asked the Region to assist the Region in its study phase of the economic feasibility study with the aim of investing in a biomethane injection metnanisation unit. This project is part of a global approach to the development of the family farm. Mr ROYER already has 3 companies: — An agricultural holding of 410 ha UAA, 340 of which are selling crops and 70 in temporary and natural meadows and about 30 heifers marketed per year; An ETA SARL; — A RTC SARL for composting activity. It essentially recovers more than 7500 tonnes of green waste in the Orne area of ARGENTAN. The compost produced in this way is fully valued on Mr ROYER’s farm.The project itself is the construction of a methanisation site for an injection rate of about 77 Nm3/h and will be part of the extension of the farm, which is not expected to generate any particular impact.
