STUDIUM is an international regional agency whose objective is to contribute, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, to the international dynamics of the scientific community, which encompasses public and private research actors. The STUDIUM through its SMART LOIRE VALLEY PROGRAMME attracts and welcomes confirmed international researchers and makes them available to laboratories in the region. At the same time, it proposes a scientific animation promoting trans-disciplinary exchanges between regional and international scientific communities; it thus contributes to the construction of human capital for research, development and innovation, to the establishment of sustainable international collaborations in the regions and to the emergence of innovations with socio-economic impact. The STUDIUM is housed in the premises of the prestigious Hotel Dupanloup in downtown Orleans where it has many spaces to organise its scientific events. Its network guarantees it a strong attractiveness. No less than 189 researchers from more than 46 different countries visited the region through it. Since 2015, the international visibility of STUDIUM and its partners has been increased thanks to its European funding (COFUND) and the multiplication of its actions.
