Centre for Technology Studies and Research in Microelectronics 2020 — Phase 2

The CERTEM 2020 project aims to further develop the actions carried out by the members of the Centre d’Etudes et de Recherches Technologiques en Microelectronics (CERTEM), formed in the form of a Grouping of Scientific Interest (GIS), in order to achieve its objectives of growth and training of regional players linked to the sectors of power microelectronics and new energy technologies. Over the past ten years CERTEM has continued to develop and radiate well beyond the circle of its founding members. It now comprises five academic laboratories (Greman, GREMI, LMR, PCM2E and CRMD) under the Université de Tours, Orleans and CNRS, as well as CEA and three private companies (STMicroelectronics, Vermon and SiLiMiXT). Positioned on three strategic axes particularly promising for the coming decades, CERTEM 2020 can aim for a position as a reference platform at international level and thus increase the visibility and attractiveness of the Centre-Val de Loire region: The energy efficiency of electrical systems. Integrated systems for nomadic electronics. Micro-sources of energy. These three areas are divided into four themes: Materials. Procedures. —Component architecture. —3D Connecting/packaging. The collaborative approach linked to this last theme is developed from the new technical platform “CERTEM Plus” * which is...
