Pharmaceutical companies close their research centres and increasingly outsource their preclinical research and development to external structures. This subcontracting represents an important potential market and therefore a real opportunity for economic development. The BIO TARGET project aims to develop knowledge in basic or applied research, and the Transfer of skills to local companies in order to strengthen the service offerings offered to pharma or biotech companies. The academic research conducted at INEM in the field of inflammation and allergies, allows us to anticipate needs, to develop services for Biotech and health industries. Technology transfer to regional SMEs specialising in the pharmaceutical industry, such as Artimmune and Key-Obs, is essential to the valorisation of this work.
