CPER MMASYF 2018: PEM — GREEN (Processes, Energy and Mobility — Renewable Energy Vectors for Transport)

This project is to finance structural scientific research equipment within the framework of the MMaSyF 2018 (Mobilities — Materials and Systems of the Future). This project entitled “PEM — VERT (Processes, Energy and Mobility — ENERGY Vectors)” is an academic research project. It aims to address the problem of energy demand for transport, which also requires the production of renewable energy carriers that can be stored and transported on board vehicles. It aims to bring together and rationalise research carried out around the PAVIN platform on the production and use of renewable energy carriers for transport. It focuses on hydrogen production by artificial photosynthesis and on the production of fermentable carbohydrates by natural photosynthesis using solar energy. It builds on two historical partners: the Pascal Institute and LIMOS as members of the IMobS3 LabEx and with the complementarity of the ICCF, through its expertise in hydrogen storage.
