The methanisation and composting project allows the recovery of farm by-products and local waste. It will produce renewable energy in the form of electricity (11 419 MWh/year) and heat (11 354 MWh) but will also produce an amendment that will be recovered locally (80 % on farm land). The project meets different objectives: — to recover farm waste-to reduce the consumption of synthetic mineral fertilisers- to reduce fertilisation costs-perenniating agricultural activity and the jobs it generates and create new jobs.-Reducing CO2 emissions: the project avoids the emission of 4,212 tonnes of CO2/year
