LZA-Project KreisJobCenter Marburg-Biedenkopf

The objective of the regional project is the sustainable reduction of long-term unemployed benefit recipients under the Second Social Code (SGB II) in the district of Marburg-Biedenkopf. Despite the participation of the job centre in projects of the federal government and the state of Hesse (e.g. Perspektive 50plus, citizen work), the proportion of long-term unemployed people in the district has not yet declined satisfactorily. The rural district has a population of unemployed people who are so far from the first labour market due to multiple barriers and problems that they need special support conditions due to individual shortfall benefits in order to enable employment in the general labour market at all. In addition to the necessary support work of both the employer customer and the employer customer in advance of placement, intensive coaching is necessary to ensure a sustainable employment relationship following successful integration.
