The aim of the investment is to provide suitable conditions for the provision of nursing and palliative care in the building and the provision and equipment of premises according to the standards required for care departments, which must be equipped with modern hospital beds and devices for physiotherapy, rehabilitation and occupational therapy. The nursing hospital is intended for patients who need an extension of non-acute treatment from the Departments of the UKC Ljubljana in terms of additional rehabilitation and nursing care as a preparatory period for returning back to the home or home of the elderly. The aim of the investment is also to improve the fire safety of the building and to extend the service life of the building.
