Carrying out research projects aimed at developing key areas that in the medium and long term will be essential to address business and societal needs, aimed at the major challenges posed by both the National Plan and the V and VI PRI, as well as the Intelligent Growth Strategy geared towards the challenges of the EU society: food security and quality, productive and sustainable agricultural activity, sustainability of natural resources, action on climate change (mitigation and adaptation to climate change), resource efficiency and raw materials. In particular, the actions of the Centre for Ecological and Mountain Agriculture will be integrated._x000D_ _x000D_ The typologies of ERDF projects will be (according to the criteria of the Partnership Agreement):_x000D_ — Research projects aimed at strategic areas (challenges)._x000D_ — Pre-competitive research projects and emerging groups._x000D_ — R & D & I projects aimed at supporting strategic areas of the regional economy._x000D_ — Strategic projects, to promote in CICYTEX the development of areas of special interest, or to carry out actions of greater scale, singularity or excellence.
