The project defines, describes and values the works needed for the execution_x000D_ of three new roundabouts between pk 9+ 070 and 10+ 450 of the BI-3741_x000D_ in Artxanda (Bilbao). At the same time, 3 sidewalk sections are designed, one en_x000D_ each roundabout, which are part of an accessibility and training plan for_x000D_ more ambitious pedestrian routes and reorder the spaces and the_x000D_ accesses to both the sports area and the Trueba College. Artxanda is_x000D_ considered one of the most important leisure, cultural and sports areas of the city of Bilbao, with which it communicates via_x000D_ public transport, either bus or funicular._x000D_ The main objective is to make the project’s scope pass_x000D_ to have a more urban character, favouring non-motorised movements._x000D_ This is achieved through the following secondary objectives: improve the_x000D_ road safety by slowing vehicles by using the calm traffic_x000D_ roundabouts, reordering the spaces and accesses_x000D_ and promoting pedestrian traffic through the execution of itineraries.
