The works to improve accessibility and mobility for public transport users consist of the extension of the platform towards Sarrià of the Provença station of the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), which will go from three to eight meters in the most near the Rosselló lobby. This action will provide the platform with a greater capacity and will alleviate the problems caused by the high concentration of users it receives, improving mobility conditions._x000D_ This action also makes it possible to generate a new connection between the lobby level and the platform level, which will improve mobility flows and thus reduce the congestion of the existing stairs. In this sense, it includes the execution of a new entrance to the enlarged part of the platform with fixed stairs and also with an elevator to improve accessibility for people with reduced mobility._x000D_ The project also foresees the construction of two emergency exits, one on the Balmes and Rosselló chamfer and the other on Rosselló street, as well as the modification of part of the lobby to access the new stairs and elevator._x000D_ The FGC Provença station is located under the Balmes street in Barcelona, ¿¿between Rosselló and Provença streets. It has two lobbies, one under the intersection of Balmes and Rosselló and the other under the intersection of Balmes and Provença; and two platforms of 90 meters in length and a useful width of three meters.
