The development of Rota as a Smart City is considered a fundamental tool to achieve the well-being of citizens and their visitors._x000D_ From the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), based on digital infrastructure and digital services, a city is built that will manage the use of its resources in a more efficient and sustainable way, offering its citizens and citizens better services, including Electronic Services._x000D_ In this sense, it is necessary to point out that an adequate platform has not yet been developed in the city that will lead to the deployment of a series of services for the public in terms of information, management and transparency, in accordance with the smart city model in the one that Rota intends to become._x000D_ Thus, this operation aims, in the first place, to carry out a diagnosis of the current situation, as well as the design of a battery of measures, in what will be called the Master Plan and Modernization of the Local Electronic Administration. Next, the implementation of the prioritized measures in said Plan will enhance municipal services through ICT, with the digital transformation of public services, with the adoption of a new Electronic Administration model (consistent with current regulatory requirements) and with a positive impact on citizens and public employees.
