THE RAMAN INSTRUMENT IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE SCIENTIFIC PAYLOAD (PASTEUR PAYLOAD) INSIDE EXOMARS- ESA ROVER MISSION TO MARS. THIS INSTRUMENT HAVE TO OBTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT THE MINERALOGY, THE CHEMICAL COMPOSITION AND THE POSSIBLE DETECTION OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS FROM THE SAMPLES OBTAINED BY THE DRILL AND CRUSHED UNDER THE FORM OF FINE POWDER AND PLACED IN A SMALL CONTAINER IN THE ULTRA CLEAN ZONE OF THE ROVER._x000D_ ALL THESE ACTIVITIES SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AS A CONTINUATION OF THE PREVIOUS PROJECT (ESP2014-56138-C3-1,2,3-R. THOSE INCLUDE THE GENERAL COORDINATION OF THE OTHER PROJECTS INCLUDED IN THIS PROPOSAL AND THE INTERNATIONAL CONSORTIUM PARTICIPATING IN THE RAMAN DEVELOPMENT. ALSO THE GROUND SEGMENT, OPERATION SUPPORT AND SCIENCE SUPPORT TO THE INSTRUMENT. AND THE OPERATION OPTIMIZATION AND COMBINED ANALYSIS ON COMMON SAMPLES WITH THE OTHER INSTRUMENTS INSIDE THE ROVER (COLLABORATIVE SCIENCE). ALSO THE INPLENTATIO OF THE DATA BASES UNDER DEVELOPMENT, THE STUDY OF NEW TERRESTRIAL ANALOGUES TO MARS, THE STUDY OF METEORITES AND THE DATA EXPLOITATION DURING THE MISSION._x000D_ FINALLY, THIS PROPOSAL ALSO AIMS TO PARTICIPATE IN FUTURE MISSIONS TO CONSOLIDATE THE WHOLE TEAM CONTRIBUTING TO THE LONG TERM SPANISH PARTICIPATION IN THE SPACE INVESTIGATION. AT THE MOMENT THE PARTICIPATION IN SUPERCAM FOR MARS 2020 MISSION OF NASA IS CONSOLIDATED AND PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES FOR THE POSSIBLE PARTICIPATION IN THE EUROPA LANDER WILL BE PERFORMED
