The project concerns the development and operation of a horizontal mechanism of strategic information and advisory support to the enterprises of the Municipality of Piraeus contributing to their orientation towards development interventions and support to the Municipality in the implementation of the Blue Growth Strategy. The Strategy concerns entrepreneurship and innovation, job creation and growth in the sectors of the Blue Economy in the Municipality of Piraeus. It offers a common strategic framework for the development of a healthy, productive and resilient Blue Economy hub, recognisable and internationalised. It is designed to exploit the potential of the sectors related to the Blue Economy, to improve social well-being, to promote Piraeus as an investment and tourist destination, to revive cross-border, transnational and international cooperation to stimulate the Blue Economy, while aiming to raise awareness among citizens and stakeholders on issues related to Blue Growth.  The Entrepreneurship Support Centre of the Municipality of Piraeus provides horizontal support in the form of gathering information and informing businesses and potential investors on a number of issues such as local market conditions and developments, sectoral issues, business planning. At the same time, the Entrepreneurship Support Centre operates as an Entrepreneurship Observatory which supports the Municipality of Piraeus in the implementation of the Blue Growth Strategy monitors institutional and procedural issues related to entrepreneurship will prepare targeted studies and surveys on issues of strategic importance for the enterprises of the Municipality of Piraeus in order to provide reliable and valid information. In addition, the DPE provides specialised support services to businesses of the Municipality of Piraeus.These services include business planning, market analysis, support in finding finance, etc.
