Research and development in the field of testing of new materials

The project will carry out independent research and development in the field of nanoparticle testing, which can significantly affect current treatments for serious diseases, including cancers. Another material we focus on R & D on ionised particles and their impact on oral cells. We also participate in testing new materials for implantation of dentures. The proposed project is extremely up-to-date. Research and development in this field requires interdisciplinary networking of material development experts, biologists, engineers, but also clinicians, especially surgical focus. Testing in terms of safety, toxicity, effect, compatibility, etc. The development of new materials is largely limited by the availability of suitable in vitro models. The development of new in vitro models is therefore a necessary to critical condition for cancer research. The standard model for research and testing of nanomaterials is cells cultured under 2D conditions (one layer). However, cells, cultured in 3D conditions, in the form of spheroids, model much better in vivo architecture and are therefore a more suitable model for in vitro tests and the development of new materials for the treatment of serious diseases. 3D cultivation protocols have been known for decades, but their rapid development occurs due to the development in the bioengineering of substrates only recently.
