The national project is aimed at promoting employment, employability and reducing unemployment of citizens with disabilities (hereinafter referred to as “citizens with disabilities”) through the provision of contributions. Contributions will be provided pursuant to Act No 5/2004 on employment services and amending certain acts, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the Employment Services Act). Citizens with HEIs form a specific group of disadvantaged citizens, who are often reliant on help and support. Disability disadvantage restricts such a citizen’s access to various employment opportunities, which has an impact on their harder access to the labour market. This is one of the reasons why there is support for citizens with HICs and employers in the form of contributions that make it possible to create the conditions for the implementation of this target group. Support for citizens with HEIs will be implemented in the framework of the national project through active labour market policy instruments, which are aimed at na:udržanie a citizen with HEIs in employment; supporting the employment of citizens with HEIs by using the help of a job assistant; supporting the retention of citizens with HEIs in sheltered workshops (hereinafter referred to as “CHPs”) and in sheltered workplaces (CHPs) by contributing to the running costs of CHD or CHP and the reimbursement of transport costs to employment. The project will be implemented by the Headquarters of the PSVR (hereinafter referred to as “Headquarters”) and 43 offices within Western, Central and Eastern Slovakia.
