Company ROŠERO – P, s.r.o. with its registered office on Sadová 14A street, 05201 Spišská Nová Ves, where the submitted project will be implemented, is active in the production of microbuses and midibuses. According to the classification of economic activities, the enterprise is engaged in 2920-Manufacture of bodies for motor vehicles; production of semi-trailers and trailers. The company’s high product quality maintains a significant market share, not only within EU countries. Together with a stable position on the market and constant customers, the quality of the products represents the strength of the company. Innovation in the production process is essential for the growth of the company’s competitiveness, the ability to meet the demanding demands of customers. In the course of the implementation of the project will be procured technologies of welding products for the production of precision and lightweight bodywork, anti-corrosion protection and drawing software solutions for the development of structures and electrical system solutions. The project will create the conditions for the growth of R & D and innovation capacities and will be reflected in measurable indicators: 12 innovative processes and an increase in employment in supported enterprises in the number of 1.The aim of the project is the innovation of the midibus production process with reduced chassis in order to achieve the best possible characteristics for full, safe and more comfortable use. Through the production of higher quality products, reduced error rates and subsequent corrections, increased labour productivity, reduction of negative environmental impact, reduction of energy intensity, reduction of direct and indirect materials, improvement of the economic performance and growth of the company’s competitiveness. The contribution to the objectives of the Research and Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialisation SR -RIS3 SK is an important positive aspect of the project. According to the focus of the company’s production activity, the project falls within the Economic Specialisation Area of RIS3 SK – Automotive Industry and Mechanical Engineering. In addition to supporting the enterprise through the introduction of innovative processes into production, the project will increase the competitiveness of the industry in the Košice region.
