The object of the project is to improve access of members of marginalised Roma minorities (hereinafter referred to as MRK) as residents of the village to facilities of civic amenities that provide public services in the village Blatný Remety (district Sobrance, Košice Self-Governing Region) through the construction and reconstruction of roads for pedestrian and parking areas (pathways, parking lot). The aim of the project is to ensure access to full services provided to the population by public administrations as well as by private and public providers (collective transport). By fulfilling the objective of the project, there will be support for social inclusion and improvement of the technical condition of the basic technical infrastructure of the municipality. A measurable indicator of the project is ‘Number of inhabitants of CLLD which improved housing conditions through the construction/completion of roads’ (P0262): 641 persons. The project is in line with the strategic objective of the OPL “Promoting the development of human resources, lifelong learning and their full integration into the labour market to improve their social situation”, in particular in priority axis PO 6. Technical facilities in municipalities with the presence of marginalised Roma communities. The project fulfils the objectives of the Investment Priority 6.1 Providing support for physical, economic and social regeneration of deprived communities in urban and rural areas. The main activity of the project will contribute to the specific objective 6.1.1 Growth in the number of Roma households with access to improved housing conditions.
