Construction of geothermal energy installations using a heat pump

The subject of the project is to change the heating method of the Elementary School – Ármina Vámbéryho Dunajská Streda so that renewable energy sources are used during its operation. Since geothermal energy has one of the greatest potentials for heat production needs in the local area, the city decided to use it for heating primary school. In this way, the project will contribute to meeting its objective of “Supporting the deployment of renewable energy sources for the operation of public buildings in Dunajská Streda”. The above objective will be achieved thanks to the implementation of the main activity of the project called “Construction of equipment for the use of aerothermal, hydrothermal or geothermal energy using a heat pump”Thanks to the implementation of the main activity, the project will achieve the following measurable indicators: P0290 Number of enterprises receiving support: 0 enterprisesP0706 Increased renewable energy production capacity: 0.2961 MWP0707 Increased renewable heat generation capacity: 0.2961 MWtP0705 Increased electricity generation capacity from renewable sources: 0,00 MWeP0084 Amount of thermal energy produced by the RES plant: 450,650 MWh/yearP0080 Amount of electricity produced by the RES plant: 0,00 MWh/yearP0103 Estimated annual greenhouse gas emission reductions: 105.01 t equiv. CO2P0692 Emission reduction of PM10: 1.68 kg/yearP0694 SO2 emission reduction: 0,07 kg/yearP0691 NOx reduction: 65 kg/year In addition to the fulfilment of measurable indicators, the project will overall allow to achieve: Reduction of emissions from the operation of the primary school buildingReducing the dependence of primary school operations on imports of primary energy sources, often from politically or economically not very stable regionsReducing finances related to building heating and overall reduction in the financial intensity of primary school operation
