Through its implementation, the project will contribute to meeting the needs of the target groups in Slovakia. The target groups of the project include mainly self-governing regions, municipalities and towns, as well as state administration institutions, HR employees, legal entities and citizens. The project will be implemented throughout the whole territory of Slovakia. For quality development of the Smart cities concept in Slovakia, it is necessary to draw up a basic document – National Strategy at State Administration level and a coherent methodology for the preparation of strategic materials at national, regional or local level. A number of co-operating actors enter the whole smart growth system.  For this reason, expert support is needed – a platform for municipalities in the preparation and implementation of their development projects. Such cooperation will well prepare the territories of Slovakia for the so-called SMART regions. Measurable indicators of the project include – Number of conceptual, analytical and methodological materials (3), Number of evaluations, analyses and studies carried out (16) and Number of information activities undertaken (10).
