The subject of the project is the construction of a public water supply in the villages of Lovča in the district of Žiar nad Hronom. Residents are currently supplied with hygienically unsatisfactory drinking water from local wells, water quality does not meet the requirements of STN 75 7211. There is no suitable source of drinking water for public water supply in the village. The lack of public water is one of the weaknesses and limitations in the development of the village and at the same time the lack of supply of sufficient and quality drinking water for residents is one of the main environmental problems, which has been unresolved for several years. The aim of the project is to ensure a smooth supply of drinking water to the inhabitants of the village through the construction of a public water supply, including a water supply to which water from the VN Turček will be fed through the drinking water supply “Žiar nad Hronom – Žarnovica-Hronský Beňadik”. The aim of the project will be achieved through the implementation of one main activity of the project: “Construction of public water supply”, and clearly measurable through 2 indicators: Number of km of built water supply network – 6,977 km and Increased population with improved drinking water supply value 573. Implementation of the project will also contribute to improving the quality of life in the village, improving the living conditions of the inhabitants with a positive impact on their social situation. This will also contribute to the future further territorial and economic development of the municipality.
