The subject of the project is the construction of a public water supply in the villages of Pitelová part Dolina in the district of Žiar nad Hronom. Residents of the village of Dolina are supplied only with water from their own wells, which is often unsatisfactory, water quality does not meet the requirements of STN 75 7211. At the same time, the wells have a low spreading rate. The lack of sufficient and high-quality drinking water for the inhabitants of the Dolina district is one of the main environmental problems that has been unresolved for several years. The aim of the project is to ensure a smooth supply of drinking water for the inhabitants of the village Pitelová part of Dolina through the construction of a public water supply. The water supply will be connected to the existing grid of the village Trnavá Hora. The aim of the project will be achieved through the implementation of one main activity of the project: “Construction of public water supply”, and clearly measurable through 2 indicators: Number of km of built water supply network – value 0.585 km and Increased population with improved drinking water supply value 60. Implementation of the project will also contribute to improving the quality of life in the village, improving the living conditions of the inhabitants with a positive impact on their social situation. This will also contribute to the future further territorial and economic development of the municipality.
