The Centre for Advanced Therapies of Chronic Inflammatory Diseases of the musculoskeletal system (CPT – ZOPA) is a project aimed at increasing research activity at the National Institute of Rheumatic Diseases and completing the research infrastructure that will create a top-class workplace for advanced therapies at international level. The project is involved as an applicant of the National Institute of Rheumatic Diseases and partners from scientific and educational institutions Chemical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Technical University in Košice and business entity in the field of research and development and medical sciences REGENMED spol. s r.o. The project is implemented in Piešt’any, where the excellent workplace of CPT – ZOPA, Košice and Bratislava will be completed. Duration of the project: 01/2020-06/2023The activities of the project are focused on independent research and development and experimental development in the field of research and treatment of chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal apparatus with potential application in clinical practice. Planned results of the project:- support provided for the promotion and registration of intellectual property rights (1 patent application, 1 application of utility model at international level)- number of new researchers in supported entities (8.65 FTE)- involvement of 3 research institutions and 1 business entity- number of planned publications (6)
