District Partizánske is a district in Trenčiansky region. It has an area of 301.03 km², 45 816 inhabitants live there and an average population density of 152 inhabitants per km². The city of Partizánske itself is located in the southern part of the Trenčín region at the confluence of the rivers Nitra and Nitrice. The cadastre of Partizánske is part of the northern promenade of the Danube hills, with a slightly wavy relief going southeast to the Tribeč mountain. The applicant for a non-repayable financial contribution is the Technical Services of Partizánske s.r.o., which is 100 % owned by the City of Partizánske. The purpose of the proposed project is to build a facility for mechanical treatment of mixed municipal waste for purposes and needs in the interest area managed by the Technical Services of the City of Partizánske. The implementation of the project will increase the amount of mixed municipal waste, which will be treated in the mechanical treatment plant. This is mixed municipal waste and bulky waste generated in the interest area. The implementation of the project will create conditions for the development of an efficient and sustainable municipal waste management system in the area.
