The project’s target group is the disadvantaged jobseekers (Zuoz) who are the marginalised Roma community (MRC). CLLD is one of the most vulnerable groups affected by social exclusion, poor living conditions resulting from deep poverty, but also forms of discrimination in different areas. The highest concentration of socially excluded communities is recorded in Eastern Slovakia and in the southern districts of Slovakia. As a result of these circumstances, a carousel of disagreements with the majority is triggered and the exclusion of these communities is further exacerbated. A way of improving their living conditions is to support them in the fields of education, employment and social inclusion. Employment and appropriate work is perhaps the most important element of the sustainability of any integration measures, including in the marginalised Roma community (MRC). The project contains the selection, preparation and employment of Zuoz in Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko for the newly created position of train manager assistant. The aim of the project is to effectively and safely accompany passenger trains in selected locations with a significant proportion of Roma passengers by creating a new profession attached to standard train crews. One of the requirements for Zuoz for this position will be the requirement to know the Roma language and mentality of MRK passengers, which will make it possible to ensure not only safety on the train, but also to contribute to the gradual socialisation of MRC passengers. As a result, passengers will be satisfied and the number of travel documents sold. The number of train assistants expected to lead over two years is 10 FTE.
