The aim of the project is to improve access to quality education, including early childhood education and care in Barca. The construction of the kindergarten will improve the educational and care infrastructure for pre-school children in Barca. As the population in the village grows, it is necessary to constantly improve the technical facilities of the village with a high population of marginalised Roma communities. There is no kindergarten in Barca, the number of pre-school children being 48. Only rarely does children drive to a kindergarten in the village of Figa. For this reason, most children enter the first class of primary school without any pre-school training. The implementation of the project will create a kindergarten with a capacity of 50 children, which means placing all children from the village in a pre-school establishment. Of these, 95 % are marginalised Roma communities. The project is in accordance with the approved Action Plan of the district Rimavská Sobota Vladou SR on 24.6.2016
