The project follows national projects National System of Occupations I to III in accordance with Section 35a(2) of Act No 5/2004 on employment services and amending certain acts. The implementation of the project will be carried out by the Ministry of Labour of the Slovak Republic on the coordination platform, through the Alliance of Sectoral Councils pursuant to Section 35b of the Act on Employment Services, using the information system of the NSP (www.sustavapovolani.sk). The development of new and innovative national employment standards will create a better identification of employers’ demand for skilled labour in line with innovative labour market trends in an improved NSP information system. The results of the project will have an effect on the labour market throughout the Slovak Republic for employers, jobseekers, employment offices, but also the educational sphere and persons before the choice of vocational training for the labour market. Better identification of the demand for skilled labour will be created to support the adaptation of workers, businesses and entrepreneurs to changes in the labour market. These include, in particular, new occupations, descriptions of skills for progressive sources of employment growth coming into sectoral policies related to climate change, the performance economy and the impact of digitalisation and automation. A more targeted identification of the need for professional knowledge and skills of individual jobs will contribute to a better assessment of the possibilities of people to take part in the labour market and to improve the adaptability of employees and businesses to changing conditions. Expenditure on innovative project solutions is not part of other government expenditure. The project is implemented throughout Slovakia, but according to the OP HR expenditure is only eligible for the target territory of the less developed regions of the Slovak Republic at 88.84 %, according to the pro rata ratio in the OP HR.
