The financing of wage expenses of eligible employees of the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (hereinafter SIEA), which, pursuant to the Agreement on Power of Attorney, to carry out part of the tasks of the Intermediate Body under the Operational Programme Research and Innovation, Reg. No 146/2015-2050-1200, carries out part of the tasks of the Intermediary Body of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic under the Operational Programme Research and Innovation. The SIEA is the eligible services/staff involved in the implementation, management, monitoring, evaluation, control and audit of the Operational Programme Research and Innovation (hereinafter referred to as “R & I OP”) for the 2014-2020 programming period and the closure of the 2007-2013 programming period. On the basis of this project, the financing of wage expenditure in 2019 and 2020 will be ensured. Under the R & I OP, the SIEA uses the financial allocation allocated to provide support for the activity of the eligible staff involved in the processes of the R & I OP and the closure of the 2007-2013 programming period through Priority Axis 5 Technical Assistance.  The funding provided under this project will be used to finance the wage expenses of eligible SIEA staff who ensure the implementation of OP VaI processes, the main aim of the project being to ensure stable, high-quality and sufficiently motivated administrative capacity for the implementation of OP R & I and closure of OP KaHR. The implementation of the project will be provided by the Economic Department, the Technical Assistance Unit of the Funding and Administration Section as beneficiary for SIEA. The funds earmarked for the financing of remuneration on the basis of agreements on non-employment works provided under this project will be used to finance the remuneration of external personnel for the performance of professional evaluation activities and for the performance of checks on public procurement bodies.
