Innovative veterinary marketplace development

The overall objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of Vetro Solutions SRL by developing a software product that will digitise the veterinary health industry by automating redundant processes currently undergoing members of this ecosystem and to create the link between them, thus facilitating the collaboration and growth of the industry at national level. The objective of the project contributes to the achievement of Priority Axis 2 – Information and Communications Technology for a competitive digital economy by involving the ICT sector in the development of an innovative product that generates added value both for the applicant, for whose sector it addresses and for other companies in the cluster with the main goal of increasing competitiveness. To the same extent, the project’s objective meets the general objective of the Competitiveness Operational Programme (OPC) to contribute to the achievement of the overall objective of the Partnership Agreement 2014-2020, by involving specific RDI activities (industrial research, process and organisational innovation, etc.) and ICT-specific activities (realisation of a software product) in order to obtain an innovative product that makes a major contribution to increasing the competitiveness and development of the applicant company. The implementation of the project generates direct benefits to the applicant company through increased turnover and profit, economic benefits of the business environment close to the applicant company (cluster, suppliers, customers) as well as social benefits for employees and their family members (increase in living standards, self-esteem, etc.). All these aspects contribute to increasing regional and national GDP, increasing the living standards of the population in the areas where the project is being implemented, which contributes to achieving the overall objective of the Partnership Agreement 2014-2020 to reduce disparities in economic and social development between Romania and the EU Member States. After the implementation of the project, for vertical integration of the software product developed through the project will continue the collaboration with other members of the cluster by involving them in the further development of the product.
