The project aims to create a modern road transport network in order to develop the area regionally, improve traffic flow, reduce travel time, reduce pollution and reduce the number of road accidents in the region. In this way, the project contributes to the promotion of a sustainable transport system in Romania, which will facilitate safe, fast and efficient transport of persons and goods to European standards. The general objective of the project is to divert heavy traffic from Satu- Mare on a bypass. The realisation of this project for the construction of the Satu – Mare bypass contributes to the achievement of the result indicator 2S11 – Average travel time on the TEN-T road network.
