The object of the financing project “Equipment of the Research and Development Department of SC ALUM SA with independent installations, research performance in support of increasing economic competitiveness and business development” is the acquisition of tangible assets for CD and equipment for researching technologies for obtaining aluminium hydroxide, a product for high-tech applications. The project “Equipment of the Research and Development Department of SC ALUM SA with independent installations, research performance in support of economic competitiveness and business development” is characterised by a general objective and specific objectives. The general objective of this investment project is to increase R & D and innovation capacity in order to increase the level of innovation and market competitiveness of the enterprise, i.e. to develop research, technological development and innovation in order to increase the enterprise’s economic competitiveness through innovation, as well as to improve the R&I infrastructure, improve the enterprise’s excellent capacities and the scientific capacity of the enterprise in the fields of smart specialisation. The general objective is fully in line with the objective of the National Strategy for Research and Development Innovation 2014-2020 approved by Government Decision No 929/2014, namely with the central objective of Action “1.1.1 Large R & D Infrastructures”, Project Type “Investments for the R & D departments of enterprises” of the Competitiveness Operational Programme, Priority Axis 1 “CDI in support of economic competitiveness and business development”.
