General objective of the project/Project Purpose Combating poverty and social exclusion in the Babeni community (Babeni, Bonciu, Paduretu, Romani, Tatarani, Valea Mare), in Valcea county, by involving at least 660 people, especially among the Roma population, in integrated measures of education, employment, entrepreneurship, supporting the development and provision of social/medical/socio-medical services, improving housing conditions, combating discrimination and promoting multiculturalism. This general objective translates into real and visible long-term benefits for 660 people who make up the target group of the project. As follows: — 60 preschoolers and 180 students at risk of school dropouts will be assisted both financially and through specific activities designed to help stimulate access to education and improve their basic skills. Through their participation in educational activities, 60 preschoolers and 180 schoolchildren at risk of school dropout will overcome the disinterest in school and will have a better participation in compulsory educational activities. — 60 persons participating in the “Second Chance” remedial programs will be reintegrated into the education system in order to complete the studies they have abandoned, will obtain certificates of graduation of modules/cycles of education. In the long term, the certification of acquired knowledge and recognition of skills in the graduation exams will contribute to increasing the chances of integration on the labour market of assisted persons. a total of 260 unemployed people will gain information about the dynamics of the labour market and the current demands of employers in the region, will develop essential skills in the job search process and will be involved in continuous training programs aligned with the requirements of the labour market in the region. 100 people at risk of poverty and social exclusion from the marginalised community will benefit from both counselling services for personal development and skills and techniques necessary for any future entrepreneur, as well as entrepreneurial programs aimed at developing professional skills: entrepreneurial skills, communication skills in English and IT competences. By participating in the entrepreneurial program, 100 people at risk of poverty and social exclusion will acquire knowledge and skills to set up and develop their own business and will have an advantage in the effort to cope with the challenges related to the excessive technology of all fields of activity. the improvement of living conditions in 100 households of the target group members will lead to an increase in the quality of life and the learning and employment capacity of people in households – at least 660 people in the community will benefit from
