Reducing the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion in ZUM Alba Iulia, in which there is a population belonging to the Roma minority, by implementing measures integrated in the context of the CLLD mechanism, in accordance with the policies of increasing the quality of life, social cohesion, improving the living environment and economic growth throughout the Alba Iulia SDL territory. This objective is in line with the principles of promoting social inclusion, combating poverty and any form of discrimination and will be achieved through integrated activities to increase access and participation in education, support for access and maintenance on the labour market, provision of social, medical, cultural services for 720 people, of which at least 288 belong to the Roma minority. Thus, coherent and harmonised poly-sectoral actions will be ensured both at the level of the individual and at the level of the marginalised community in which they live, integrated actions that will increase the level of work and professional skills, will improve the state of health and access to social, cultural and educational services. Through the general objective, the project contributes to the achievement of the specific objective of the program and call proposed within the Human Capital Operational Programme 2014-2020, following the socio-economic integration of the marginalised urban area in which there is a population belonging to the Roma minority from Alba Iulia Municipality and the Local Development Strategy of the territory of Gal Alba Iulia Incclusive, through concrete measures regarding education (educational therapy, parental education programs, after school programs) in accordance with POCU 8 intervention sheet and POCU 9 intervention sheet, employment measures (training and counselling, mediation, vocational training) POCU Intervention Sheet 6; interventions in the field of the provision of medical services POCU 11 Intervention Sheet, interventions in the field of and fight against discrimination and promotion of multiculturalism POCU Intervention Sheet 1, 2, 11, 12 and 13. In the long term, the provision of integrated measures provided for in this project will contribute to: • preparing the workforce at risk of poverty and social exclusion from the marginalised community with the majority Roma population of Alba Iulia in competitive occupations, helping to reduce the danger of social exclusion of these workers; • promotion and compliance with environmental quality standards; • tackling gaps in participation in the formal labour market; • respect and encourage the principle of equal opportunities between women and men; • linking education and learning throughout life to the labour market, contributing to sustainable economic and social development; • providing opportunities for participation in a modern, flexible and inclusive labour market; • removing barriers leading to marginalisation and discrimination
