CEO Entrepreneur – Competitiveness, Excellence, Opportunity!

The general objective of the project aims to improve access and equity in university education for students, especially those from vulnerable categories, by increasing the attractiveness of entrepreneurial educational offers in the fields of bioeconomy and energy intelligence specialisation, environment and climate change, by improving the competences of the teaching staff and implementing integrated packages – educational, financial and entrepreneurial assistance. Becoming one of the priorities of the European and national economy, entrepreneurial education can be approached either through the perspective of the professional competences that derive from it, or through the perspective of a way of thinking that can give the individual confidence in his own entrepreneurial abilities. In this regard, the European Framework of Entrepreneurial Competences, promoted by the European Commission, explains entrepreneurship in terms of the 15 main competences, which it offers: ability to identify opportunities, develop creativity, vision capacity, capitalise on ideas, ethical and sustainable thinking, self-awareness and level of efficiency, motivation and perseverance, mobilisation of resources, acquisition of knowledge in economic and financial language, ability to mobilise others and take initiative, ability to manage insecurity and risks, ability to plan and manage management, ability to work team and learn from their own experience. The development of entrepreneurial skills is undoubtedly an efficient alternative of adapting to the labour market in the context of its globalisation and internationalisation. Numerous studies show that the economic development of a country depends on the existence of competitive markets and entrepreneurs. Thus, the entrepreneur contributes to the creation of new jobs, triggers pontential at a personal level and gives a point of interest to the citizens of a country. As stated in the 2020 ANTREPRENORY ACTITION PLAN launched by the European Commission in 2013, the role of higher education in the entrepreneurial field manifests itself much more widely, beyond the mere transmission of knowledge, and consists of participation in ecosystems, partnerships and industrial alliances. High-tech enterprises and high-growth enterprises are increasingly becoming the target of public policies in the field of entrepreneurship, so that higher education institutions are an active element of the policies in favour of innovations of the Member States and the EU. Entrepreneurial companies help develop the entrepreneurial spirit and can be applied in a cross-cutting manner in any field of activity. Therefore, the relevance of entrepreneurial education is justified both by its ability to meet the need for business diversification within the company,
