Whatever you learn, you learn for yourself- stop school dropout!

GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Reducing and preventing early school leaving and promoting equal access to education in the LIVEZENI COMMUNITY, by developing integrated educational services and increasing the involvement of community members in maintaining in the education system those at risk of leaving school. Drop-out is a complex social reality with a multitude of causes and therefore needs diverse responses. For this reason, the project partner school chose to address this issue through interdisciplinary and cross-cutting activities integrated into the school curriculum, through extracurricular activities on stage representations, music and theatre. The belief that actions to prevent early school leaving should be promoted and implemented as soon as possible, the willingness to support efforts to diversify teaching-learning methods, the concern for school and vocational orientation of pupils, all of which are the main motivations for students to avoid dropping out, while at the same time giving them the opportunity to get involved in an artistic project and to work as a team. The activities of the project allow students to strengthen their confidence in themselves by giving them the opportunity to express themselves in another way, to overcome their limits, to find motivation for study and aim to reduce the rate of absenteeism and school dropout. The school has an important role for the future of young people and implicitly for the future of society. At the same time, it has a role to play in shaping, educating, integrating and socialising. Like any institution and school, there are a number of difficulties, leaving school being one of them. Early school leaving has negative consequences for both young people who drop out and society. The project activities aim to increase students’ motivation for study and to lower the rate of absenteeism and school dropout. The project partners aim to develop the feeling of belonging to a group to students, to create a space in which the creativity and initiative of the students are stimulated. The proposed activities also aim to increase self-esteem, self-confidence, development of active citizenship and personal development. Students present personal predispositions depending on the social environment. Experiences of school and extracurricular life differ from person to person. Participation in this project promotes equal opportunities, development of the teaching process in a multicultural framework, support for disadvantaged groups, fight against school dropout and failure. The interventions supported by this project put the COPIL and its needs at the centre and set out the directions of action the aim of which must be to remove the obstacles that prevent him from going to school through child and family services: support Fi
