General objective of the project: Development of human resources and economy in S-V Oltenia Region through training in the field of entrepreneurship, creation of micro-enterprises and creation of new jobs. The project aims to promote entrepreneurship in the S-V Oltenia Region, training in entrepreneurship of 300 people residing in the S-V Oltenia Region, setting up 38 micro-enterprises (at least 2 enterprises in each of the counties of Oltenia S-V region), creating at least 76 new jobs. The applicant, the University of Craiova, through the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, the initiator of the project, has experience in entrepreneurial training and in the management of projects where some of the members of the target group have set up their own businesses. Benefits of the target group: 1. Acquisition of competences and entrepreneurial skills in accredited ANC courses supported by academics employed within the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. 2. Supporting each person in the target group by business advisors in order to identify a viable business idea and to achieve a performance business plan. 3. Support 38 persons from the target group to set up their own business by granting a subsidy of up to EUR 40,000. In the long term the project will generate the following benefits: — the creation of at least 76 new jobs in newly established companies. — economic development of the S-V Oltenia region due to the activity of the 36 enterprises created within the project. — the development of entrepreneurship in the region, thanks to campaigns to promote entrepreneurship and training in the field of entrepreneurship for 300 people.
