The general objective of the project is to promote the entrepreneurial culture at the level of the North-West Region by: 1-providing entrepreneurial training courses, information for drawing up a business plan and starting a business, for a target group of 300 people from all counties of the region, in order to develop entrepreneurial and managerial skills. 2-Providing non-reimbursable financial assistance for a minimum of 65 newly created businesses and counselling/advising/mentored before and after the opening of the business, in order to increase the chances of putting their entrepreneurial ideas into practice. The project contributes to increasing local employment opportunities by employing a minimum of 2 people by newly created firms (in total at least 130 newly created jobs and employed persons). The project thus leads to the development of new companies with an important role in the economy and with influence on employment, companies that ensure competitive dynamics, as well as innovative companies, which determine the sustainable development of the region, technological development and added value; Therefore, through the integrated approach, the project aims to develop/strengthen the entrepreneurial and managerial skills of the target group, encourage and support the creation and development of new businesses, in order to improve performance and training in order to develop the entrepreneurial spirit, materialise business ideas and increase employment on the labour market; The project aims to respond to the increased competitiveness pressures of a constantly changing national and regional economic environment, by facilitating and encouraging the creation of new companies to enter innovative and emerging sectors of the economy. The services offered under the project support the promotion of entrepreneurial culture, social innovation, the principle of equal opportunities and non-discrimination in order to capitalise on entrepreneurial ideas and increase the competitiveness of the economic environment in the North-West Region, thus contributing to the economic development and the local, regional and national business environment.
