The general objective of the project “Support for the preparation of the financing application and the tender documentation for the regional project for the development of water and waste water infrastructure in Cluj and Sălaj counties, in the period 2014-2020” is to continue the process of elaborating the necessary documentation to obtain the financing of the regional investment project, from European funds for the 2014-2020 programming period, allowing the continuation of the implementation of the local strategy in this sector in order to fulfil the commitments stemming from the European Directives on water quality intended for human consumption (98/83/EC) and on waste water treatment (91/227/EEC). The project contributes to the implementation of the actions of Specific Objective 3.2 “Increasing the level of collection and treatment of urban waste water, as well as the degree of ensuring the drinking water supply to the population” of Priority Axis 3 “Development of environmental infrastructure under resource efficiency conditions”, actions aimed at fulfilling the priorities of the Accession Treaty for the water and wastewater sector and representing the continuation of previous strategies, financed by ISPA and SOP Environment 2007-2013, by preparing the project within the project portfolio related to the specific objective.
