Improving Romania’s economic competitiveness by developing transport infrastructure that facilitates economic integration in the EU, thus contributing to the development of the internal market in order to create the conditions for increasing the volume of investments, promoting sustainable transport and cohesion in the European road network. This investment objective contributes to the improvement of the road infrastructure in the area, by increasing the speed of travel and reducing the travel time, improving the quality of life of the inhabitants, reducing the negative effects on the environment. The implementation of this project for the construction of the starting sector of the Bucharest-Ploiesti motorway contributes to the achievement of the result indicator 2S1 – Average travel time on the central TEN-T road network, by achieving a time saving of 8133 hours saved per day for average traffic.
