The project “Technical Assistance for Publicity and Public Information in the Field of Welfare (1st Stage)” (hereinafter – TA publicity project) is a support for implementation of information and publicity activities (activities) of the Ministry of Welfare (hereinafter – LM), as responsible institutions involved in the management of European Union (EU) funds, for implementation of information and publicity activities (activities) under its responsibility 2014. The specific support objectives of the EU Funds for the 2020 programming period and their measures (hereinafter referred to as EU funds). Main activities of the TA publicity project:1. Information and publicity activities of European Union funds:1.1. Ensuring participation in the development of the content of national broadcast television programmes on welfare issues, thereby raising awareness and understanding of the contribution of EU funds to the public, and in particular to the target group of specific support objectives;1.2. The development and distribution of visually informative materials (infographic, video graphics, educational videos, posters, booklets, banners) is ensured; 1.3. A communication campaign consisting of four strands of action defined for the Ministry of Welfare in the “Joint Action Plan on Deinstitutionalisation Communication Strategy”;1.4. 15 large-scale information activities on EU funds (seminars, conferences, press conferences and forums) on welfare issues were implemented;1.5. One video of training on access to the environment and information has been prepared in accordance with the horizontal principle “Equal Opportunities”;1.6. Easy-to-language information on the LM website www.lm.gov.lv;1.7. Representation materials are developed and distributed, which are made in accordance with principles that are essential in welfare sector EU fund projects and strengthen the message of these projects (for example, principles of diversity promotion, social responsibility, universal design, work safety).2.TP publicity project management and implementation: Planning, implementation (including procurement, contracting) and monitoring of the results.The planned period of implementation of the TP publicity project is from January 2016 to December 2018.The total costs of the TP publicity project are EUR 452088.04, incl. Financing of EU funds EUR 384274.83 and state budget co-financing EUR 67813.21. TP publicity project monitoring indicators are planned in accordance with Cabinet Regulations of 25 August 2015 No.485 "Regulations on Operational Programme "Growth and Employment" Priority Axis "Technical Assistance "European Social Fund Support for the Implementation and Management of Cohesion Policy Funds"" and 10.1.2 Support to the Objective "To raise awareness about Cohesion Policy Funds by providing support for information and communication activities", "Technical assistance”.
