From 2015 until 31.12.2022, the project will address the problems identified by the “Growth and Jobs” agenda and examine the best solutions for the creation and development of social enterprises, which will promote the development of social entrepreneurship and increase employment opportunities, especially for disadvantaged people.The aim of the project is to identify and test optimal solutions for the creation and development of social enterprises, including labour integration for social enterprises, in order to increase employment opportunities for disadvantaged unemployed persons, persons with disabilities and persons with mental disabilities. Project activities will ensure the development and implementation of social entrepreneurship support system, as a result it will promote and support activities of companies that solve significant societal problems. The project will allow to determine the most effective forms of state support for the development of social enterprises, which will result in the creation of new enterprises, workplaces and testing of new and effective approaches in solving social problems.The project will be implemented throughout the territory of Latvia, the maximum total eligible funding available for the implementation of activities is EUR 11120206, including. ESF envelopes of EUR 9452175 and EUR 1668031 for NBs.
