With the project “Reconstruction of degraded territory in the industrial zone of Pārventa in Ventspils”, the applicant – Ventspils Freeport Authority – has planned to build car parks in the degraded territory located in Ventspils High Technology Park 6 and Ventspils High Technology Park 7 in Ventspils, thus contributing to revitalisation of the specific objective of support, regenerating degraded areas in accordance with integrated development programmes of municipalities and based on the needs of merchants. It is planned that two parking spaces created within the framework of the project with up to 133 seats for passenger cars will have a positive impact on the revitalisation of the degraded area in the amount of 11.77 ha and will ensure attraction of private investments amounting to EUR 7,100'000.00, as well as the creation of 40 new jobs. The construction works are planned to start in September 2018, after the signing of the project implementation contract with the CFLA.The total cost of the project is planned to be EUR 540'063,79.
